I didn’t know which song to upload with my review/thoughts, so I just chose this.

Overall this album is pretty good.

Rereleased Old Songs: Waratte!, START, Furufuru Future, Shocking na Kare,

New Versions of Old Songs: i, Kimi wa Melody, Colorful Days, MEGARE!

Brand New Songs: Jibun REST@RT, Marionette no Kokoro

There are like 3 OST tracks, which is fewer than the other releases, but I guess they’re running low on OST tracks by now or something.

There’s also a medley at the very end, it’s all the songs that they performed in episode 13 during the concert. But don’t get too excited, it’s not a very good medley, things don’t really blend together, it’s just “One song starts, awkwardly stops, then the next song awkwardly begins”, so that was a little disappointing.

I loved the new version of i though, it’s one of my favorite songs. Now it has everyone singing, but…I don’t think the mixing is as good as the old version. The version of MEGARE with everyone singing is great too. And for Colorful Days, I cried tears of joy when they included the 12 color version at the end.

Next ANIM@TION MASTER isn’t looking too great though, only 4 new things. Lot of old tracks, but the new ones will be: the new songs for Hibiki and Makoto, Yakusoku sung by everyone like the anime, and then a solo version of Yakusoku for Chihaya. The CD will be worth it just for Yakusoku though.

The song is finally here. This album also includes Miki’s song, Marionette no Kokoro. I plan to do lyrics for this song soon…possibly both songs. Also will probably include some kind of mini-review/overview thing of the album on my next audio post.

“Yakusoku” from THE iDOLM@STER Singable English Lyrics

Yakusoku/Promise, the song used in episode 20 and probably is going to be the highlight of the entire anime. Beautiful song, and I get chills when Chihaya starts to sing. I hope that when the full version is released, it’s the same as in the anime, where all the girls start singing first, and then Chihaya. I also hope they put this as a DLC song in the future.

As for the lyrics, same as all the other ones: no rhyming, stayed close to the original. Credit me if you use them, etc.
